Carmen has been specialising in Music Supervision for Film & Television since 2014 and has enjoyed 15+ years success in placing music to picture and picture to music across Film, TV, Advertising and Music Video. She has worked across scripted Drama, scripted Factual Drama, unscripted Factual Entertainment, Feature Film and Documentary.

Carmen's hands-on background in Film & TV Production and the Music Industry gives her a full working knowledge and in-depth understanding of the processes of both industries and places her in a unique position as a Music Supervisor.

As a head of department, Carmen is experienced in the creative music search of any genre or era, original song commissioning, score supervision, track fee negotiation, music clearance and licensing, budgeting at various levels, scheduling, musician and composer commissioning and contracting, on-set musician performance coordination, UK and international musician union liaison and the research and development of the musical identity of a TV series.

Carmen is a Senior Board member of the UK & European Guild of Music Supervisors, a co-founder of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and a member of BAFTA.
